AcuPages.com Q&A

Q: Why did you decide to be an acupuncturist?
I was personally helped by Acupuncture on several occasions. The concept of this healing method fascinated me and when the opportunity arose for Chiropractors to be licensed in Acupuncture I was eager to achieve this certification. It is fascinating to continually witness the powerful healing ability of this natural medical treatment which is effective for so many conditions, including emotional problems of depression, anxiety, grief and ADD/ADHD. By adding Acupuncture to my office it has greatly increased the joy of my own personal experiene of practice.
Q: What work/education experience makes you a better acupuncturist ?
Acupuncture treatment in our office can be performed with or without needles, both are just as effective. Our examination involves a modern, computerized form of analysis of the 12 primary meridians, called a EMI (Electro-Meridian Imaging), which as been used for over 50 years. It is objective and accurate which lends toward a more effective treatment. My styles include: Needle Acupuncture, Meridian Acupuncture (without needles, does not need to be felt), Auricular Acupuncture, Hand Acupuncture and Scalp Acupuncture.
