Michael L. Fox, L.Ac., strives to help you enjoy the best health possible with many different tools of Asian medicine, essential oil therapy, and ionic cleansing. You can choose to use these either as your primary health care system, or as an adjunct to Western allopathic medicine.
Michael has effectively treated patients with such health challenges as chronic back pain, anxiety, sciatica, depression, fatigue, asthma, insomnia, stress-related conditions, joint pain, and sexual dysfunctions. Currently his practice includes a growing number of men with andrological concerns such as prostate problems, erectile dysfunction, and infertility.
Michael Fox is a licensed acupuncturist in California, a diplomate in Oriental Medicine, and is certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He graduated with honors with a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, California.
He also studied modern-day applications of acupuncture and herbology in Beijing, doing clinical rounds at seven specialty hospitals. Prior to that, he attained a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and supervised water purification plants at gold mines in Quebec.
Later, he worked for eight years as an Art Director for film and television, becoming familiar with the stressors unique to entertainment careers. He received art direction credits for Atomic Train, Crossing Jordan, Ed, Under One Roof, Space Rangers, and others.
Just prior to beginning his training in Oriental Medicine and Chinese herbology, he became a Registered Massage Therapist in Texas with instruction at the Asten Center for Natural Healing.
Michael is currently accepting new patients. He offers very flexible scheduling to accommodate those in the entertainment industry.
