Acupuncture Treats Abnormal Heart Rhythm

There has been a great deal of research on abnormal heart rhythm and heart failure to find the results for it.  Much research has found a connection of heart failure and chronic fatigue.  Fatigue and stress combine to weaken the heart as the heart begins to pump less efficiently.  As a result, blood does not move as it should and fluids are moisture.

Acupuncture for Kids

In the past, acupuncture was not used to treat children predominantly due to the fact that most children are very afraid of needles. Recently however, clinical studies have been done and report that acupuncture can be done and have great benefit for those children who have a wide variety of diseases or problems. There is even a form of acupuncture that can be practiced for children that is completely needle free. This takes the fear factor out of the equation and makes acupuncture an excellent option for the treatment of childhood problems such as headaches, frequent ear infections, even ADHD.

Herbal Treatment For Food Allergies

Allergic reactions to foods occur when the body reacts violently to foods or other seemingly benign substances. The immune system treats these as they are a foreign body, causing an allergic reaction to that substance. Reactions to food will occur within two hours of ingesting it and cause symptoms such as hives, itching, and swelling of areas including the face, mouth and tongue. Other symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Less common symptoms that have been reported include sinus congestion, headaches, frequent earaches and bedwetting.

Acupuncture May Be Beneficial For Hormonal Imbalance

Recently western medicine has been looking for and actively embracing alternative methods to help with disorders that cause hormonal imbalances in women. These are problems that have not been improved by medications and other traditional treatment. Physicians are concentrating on treatment such as acupuncture and herbal therapy on issues such as endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Recently such a clinical research study was done at the University of Virginia Health System. This study followed women who had acupuncture treatments. The study was designed to see if this treatment would improve symptoms related to polycystic ovarian syndrome. One of the main things they were looking for was whether acupuncture would help women to have regular periods and in turn increase their fertility.

Acupuncture for Eye Twitching Sickness

Constant eye twitching can be a very frustrating and aggravating thing to experience. This condition has many causes but few successful treatments. Some neurosurgeons may try injecting Botox into the muscles surrounding the eye in order to try to stop the twitching but the success of this is limited at best. Let’s discuss what constitutes adrenal fatigue and its causes. The sad fact is that many women suffer from this condition and may not even realize it. Adrenal fatigue occurs when the body is subjected to excessive amounts of stress. The adrenal glands are responsible for our fight or flight response when we enter stressful situations. They are also responsible for hormone production that our bodies need daily to function properly. When we are overly stressed, our adrenal glands are overworked by producing cortical in answer to that stress response. They cannot then produce the other hormones that we need to function in our daily lives.

TCM Makes Aging Less Intense

TCM or Traditional Chinese Medicine works with the theory that a person’s health depends on each individual organ working together to create a whole organic being. This encompasses the mind, body and spirit. Each organ or system works independently but also in conjunction with one another. TCM teaches that aging is a progressive and degenerative process that takes place in the body. Its theory is that by the time a person has reached the age of 40 aging has caused half of the qi or life energy to be lost.
