Acupuncture for Kids
Tuesday, March 10th, 2009
In the past, acupuncture was not used to treat children predominantly due to the fact that most children are very afraid of needles. Recently however, clinical studies have been done and report that acupuncture can be done and have great benefit for those children who have a wide variety of diseases or problems. There is even a form of acupuncture that can be practiced for children that is completely needle free. This takes the fear factor out of the equation and makes acupuncture an excellent option for the treatment of childhood problems such as headaches, frequent ear infections, even ADHD.
